Description
Do you long for a simpler life? Where you work all day and sleep all night - and maybe even press wild flowers, put on women's clothing and hang around in bars? Well... maybe not... But there is something to be said for the thrilling and challanging roughneck lifestyle of a lumberjack and now you can live out your fantasy as a big burly lumbejack. Logger Bill is a very simple, yet challangin and widely addictive game for Android moblile devices. The objective is simple - touch the screen to cut as many chunks out of the never-ending tree as you can as fast as you can. If you cut too slow you run out of time and lose the game. But beware of the braches that move down as you chop. You will need to position yourself on the appropriate side of the tree to miss them, for if you get hit on the head by a branch your career as a Lumberjack ends.
History
Logger Bill is the second release by MapleScot development and their first game to use the LibGDX cross-platform framework. It was conceived as a simple game idea that could be rapidly developed as a tool to evaluate, learn, and experiment with libGDX. Logger Bill has been made available as open-source for anyoen else who would like to learn about libGDX and mobile game development.
